Mind

If words could weep, then mine would scream
Mine would claw and beg
For mercy comes little in their world
And hope is far and spread

If people read thoughts, then children would cry
Sisters would bleed and mothers would die
For my thoughts are dark, as the deepest well
They spiral and twist and lurch and turn, until calm they find again

My face hides it well, but my mind shrieks for pity
And my heart aches for silence
And my soul weeps for all eternity

I know you think I’m lying
I know you won’t believe this to be
But that is all people
And this is me

Well, I think it would have been better with out the disclaimer that you put little work in to it.
