My Rose Poem

A beautiful rose,
Or so you think.
You want it but you can not grab it.
You reach for it and manage to hold on.
You squeeze it so it never gets away.
The pain is intollerable.
The rose begins to wilt,
You are sad to see it die.
All you have is thorns.
Is that all the rose really ever was?
No,
You know it was beautiful,
You just refuse to admit you killed it.
You can not replace it,
You'r heart wont let you pick another.
The garden looks much more beautiful,
when all of the flowers refuse to be picked.

Emo poems are not my thing and that is all I will say.

It's a good thing that wasn't an emo poem. You need to look up emo, you've got to think as opposed to merely relying on your blinked preconceptions.

That was really good. And it wasn't an emo poem Carter, your just crazy.
O and I really liked the flow of the poem to but I think you could have used a word different than "sad"
